Sometimes Distance is Vital

Sometimes peace isn't found by changing the ocean. It's found by choosing where we float.

The drama, urgency, and emotional turbulence of others can pull us closer to the shoreline than we realize. Over time, that constant churn can leave us exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering what happened.

When you begin to value your peace, you naturally become more selective with your time, your energy, and your relationships. Not because you care less, but because you understand what happens when you allow yourself to be pulled too close to the rocky shoreline.

Peace is not avoidance. Peace is wisdom.

Some waves may look exciting. Some may even invite us in. But if the price is your calm, your wellbeing, or your sense of self, the cost may simply be too high.

The ducks weren't avoiding the ocean.

They were simply wise enough to know where not to float.
